Yes, the OSC has a regularly updated list of crypto asset trading platforms that are registered in Ontario. Others may join the list as the OSC continues its discussions and review of applications. Always check to see if the platform you plan to use is registered. Investors are encouraged to check with their provincial or territorial securities regulator, such as the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), to see if the individuals or companies have followed the necessary rules and regulations.

Unregistered platforms operating in Ontario that are non-compliant may be included on the OSC Investor Warnings and Alerts Page and subject to regulatory action.
